Charlottezweb owes its success over the past two decades to our loyal customers who consistently refer their friends, family and acquaintances.
This is often how we win new customers as we don’t actively spend money on marketing or advertising. Our customers ARE our marketing team and we reward them accordingly.
Some customers are able to pay for their hosting and earn more on top of that each year from referrals alone.
What are the rewards?
Our affiliate program pays out 10% on hosting services including hosting, IP addresses, WordPress services and SSL certificates. Domain names are not covered as we already offer pricing that’s well below industry rates.
For example, if you refer someone and they purchase the Standard hosting package at the annual rate of $95, you would earn $9.50. It adds up quickly!
How does it work?
To get started, within your Client Area is a page in the menu called “Affiliates.” On that page is a button to “Activate Affiliate Account.” After clicking that button, your affiliate page is setup.
On that page you can view your customized affiliate link, the number of referrals you have, the number of people who have visited and more. It also has code that you can use on your website or in emails, etc. to share your custom link.
If someone clicks your link, it will place a cookie on their browser. If they then place an order that day (or within up to 90 days), the system should automatically link their purchase to your Affiliate account.
What if I don’t want to setup links or deal with code on my site?
If you refer someone to Charlottezweb, you can ask them to mention your name on their order notes. We’ll be happy to manually connect any purchases they make to your Affiliate account.
Do I have to be a customer to refer others?
The Affiliate system is based out of our Client Area which is where your billing profile, services and support options are located. In order to register for a Client Area account, a service from Charlottezweb needs to be ordered. If you don’t need any services but would still like to refer people for earnings, please contact us to discuss options.
How are payouts handled?
Earnings can be paid out via PayPal or a check (minimum $10) or they can be transferred to account credit to apply to your own invoices.
