Anonymous FTP is, by default, enabled in your cpanels if you look under the settings.  However, it has been disabled server-wide because of the risks involved. This is because it would potentially take only one hosted account that accidentally, or maliciously, uploaded 1 bad script, warez, etc. to cause every site hosted to have problems due to the nature of our setup.  Because of this, anonymous ftp isn't accessible, even though cpanel says it is.

You may still use your ftp accounts as necessary to have defined users upload into their defined folders.  Also, you could setup download pages as necessary to offer files without using ftp.

Remember that all files stored count towards your site size constraint and every file transferred counts towards your monthly limits.

Also, please read our TOS (Terms of Service) here or ask in this thread if there are any questions about acceptable use of your hosting space.

Thanks,
Jason
