Greetings from Charlottezweb,

Just a quick note to advise that we will begin upgrading the kernel (part of a server's operating system) on all of our servers on Tuesday, August 15 around midnight EST.

After upgrading, each server will need to be rebooted which should result in no more than 5-10 minutes of outage, typically less.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.  Thank you!

Regards,
Jason

Update:  This was temporarily postponed due to a scheduling conflict last night.  I will update this thread and re-email everyone once I have a new confirmed time/date from our tech team.

I will aim to make it several days out again so you can update your clients/users if applicable.

My apologies for the delay.

Jason

This has been rescheduled to occur around 11pm EST to midnight tomorrow -- Thursday (Aug 17, 2006).

I will post here again as the reboots are completed.

Thanks!

Jason

The upgrades were completed without incident last night.

Thanks!
