Looks interesting!!
To be honest, I really don't like FF3. There are too many issues with it and they won't acknowledge them. For instance, have you gone to organize your bookmarks? It runs really, really slow even in RC1. And I also don't like the new theme. :(
Honestly, I'm still running 2x. It's funny you should say that when one of their selling points is the speed. Maybe they're just referring to browsing. :)
For those of you watching this thread, I think the big day is tomorrow :)
"Today you'll make history with Firefox
Are you ready to make history? Are you ready to set a World Record? Today is Download Day. To become part of the official Guinness World Record you must download Firefox 3 by 17:00 UTC on June 18, 2008, or roughly 24 hours from now."

I really dislike how they are approaching this world record day thing. I understand that publicity stunts need be made, but they are pushing it WAY too much.
They have blocked updates in favor of full downloads to boost the downloads for the world record saying "Please DO NOT “check for updates” from within Firefox 2 as we are not yet offering it as an update and this does not count toward the record." and IMO this is cheating is it not?

I wonder if that's a Guiness rule? To me, downloading an update or a full package are still both "downloads" by definintion. I guess they want to capture new, full-package downloads only since the updates would boost their numbers way higher?
I wouldn't think it would be a rule to not include updates, but I do think it's shady to tell your users to do it a certain way so they can get higher numbers.
And you would think if they where trying to get high numbers they would figure a way to count it ALL updates and full downloads.
*shrugs* who knows. :-\

Again, I prefer SeaMonkey. :)
Integrated mail, browser, etc. Just works. No gimmicks. Most Firefox extensions/add-ons work in it.
