Hi,

Smartftp have stopped their free version. I have 9 days to sort out an alternative (I don't intend to pay to use Smartftp) before the 'trial' version quits on me. Any suggestions?

I haven't used it personally but the big name that comes to mind if you want a free option is filezilla

I've never used their FTP program but I used to use CoffeeCup HTML Editor long ago and it was really good. So if that's any indication.

overall happy with FireFTP that is a Firefox addon. Will do about 98% of my requirements and is more stable than older versions.

I've been using Filezilla, but don't like it at all. I tend to switch off with GUI that I don't instinctively understand how to use. I know, it is probably just the change of softwares, rather than one being better, but it does feel clunky compared to SmartFTP.
