Title: cpanel html editor - forbidden error on images
Post by: WoE on July 21, 2008, 11:29:38 AM
Was wondering if anyone else has ever gotten something like this.

While trying to get a subdomain page up I keep encountering the following, while trying to add an image via the html editor in cpanel.

The ventsetup directory is set to 755, index.htm to 644, images directory 755, and 744 for the images themselves.

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /ventsetup/images/thorins_1_banner.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Are you trying to upload that thorins_1_banner.jpg image when you get that error?

Have you tried duplicating via ftp to confirm that it's an issue just within cpanel?

(I haven't used the cPanel-based utilities for file management in quite some time)

Figured this one out.  My bad.  ::)

I forgot to add the subdomain to HotLink Protection.  :-[
