Title: September 2, 2011 :: Monsoon outages
Post by: Jason on September 02, 2011, 10:30:24 PM
We're working on a MySQL storage issue on Monsoon currently.  It appears one database/script is facing a problem which has caused it to expand using all the disk space on that partition.

We should have this sorted shortly.

Thank you,
Jason

We're moving that site's database to a separate location while we figure out what is going wrong with it.  If I had to guess, it may be another 10-15 minutes to transfer it due to the large file size.  Once that's complete, we should be able to restore mysql service.

Thank you for your patience.

This should be resolved.  An outdated SMF forum was hit with an incredible amount of spam posts that consumed mysql's storage partition.

I apologize for the disruption and appreciation your patience!
