Title: April 9, 2014 :: Thunderbolt security update and reboot

We are initiating a security patch on Thunderbolt which will require a reboot once installed to complete.

The reboot will likely occur within the hour however I made the decision to proceed now vs. scheduling this for off-hours due to the security issue involved.

I will update this thread further once the maintenance is complete.

This server was patched and rebooted around 6:40pm yesterday.  The reboot downtime was only a few minutes as monitored by Pingdom.

For those interested, the patching was to address an OpenSSL vulnerability you may have seen in the news this week:
