It depends on what the upgrade is for.  If it's for a security issue, you should upgrade asap.  The same is true for all scripts installed on websites.

I would just upgrade if I where you. Because WordPress is a small script (meaning no a lot of files to upload) it's an extremely easy upgrade.

So long as your plug-ins (if you have any) are compatible with the update just do them and get them out of the way.

I likely won't be able to do this until early next week with my current workload but if you want to open a ticket with the details, I can followup then.

Otherwise, the upgrade is very simple to do if you want to try it.  Just be sure to back everything up before you attempt it just in case.

If you are in a hurry to have your WordPress install upgrading I would be willing to help you so you can have it done much sooner. Or if you aren't in a rush then you can wait for Jason.

I am sorry Possum!

I hate not giving one person the job. This happened on a list I am on. I wanted an image (dog) editing because I caught his eyes  with the Flash and two answerd with offers so I gave it who answerd first.

I am going to try the upgrade first this afternoon before I put in the ticket. Each time I try I mess up lol

Wish me luck Possum and thanks again for your kind offer.

Hi,

There was an option to upgrade via cpanel so I did but the day after there is yet another upgrade.. :(

I see I have two backups after upgrades can these be removed please?

kate.007backup is not going in the bin Jason could you remove that when time allows. I see I had a kate with internal error so I have dumped that.

Making space because I use a lot of images on both WP lolol

I've removed the kate.007* file.  Not sure why you couldn't delete it though -- your account had full permissions for it.
