October 10, 2012 :: Avalanche and Wildfire network outage - 10 minutes

Early this morning -- at approximately 2:15am EST -- there was a network hardware issue that impacted two of our cloud servers:  Avalanche and Wildfire.   Both servers were fine throughout that time but a network issue disrupted traffic to them.

The datacenter found a switch upstream of both of these servers that was dropping packets.   

The total network outage as reported by Alertra was under 10 minutes.
