March 16, 2012 :: Planned upstream network maintenance

One of our datacenters has advised us today of a pending upstream network maintenance window for this coming Friday night at approx 11pm EST.   Normally we don't see any impact from these but I like to post them in the event you experience slower response times during the maintenance window.

These are the servers that could be impacted:

Blizzard       
Jetstream       
Monsoon   
Sirocco       
Supercell       
Tempest   
Tornado   
Tsunami   
Typhoon       
Whiteout

Maintenance Notification:
Facility: Atlanta
Time: 23:00 EST on Friday March 16th.
Window duration: 2 hours
Anticipated impact: 20 minutes

Upstream Network Maintenance

Details of Maintenance:
Upgrades will be performed on hardware controlling upstream connections for the Gold network.  This maintenance will cause traffic passing through PCCW/BTN to reroute through our other providers several times during the maintenance window.  Other upstream providers on both Gold and Silver will not be impacted.
