can you enable the list of most recent posts on this forum and make the length 20?

maybe even show then at the bottom of the page or provide a link.

it would make it easier to find the newest posts.

btw, LOVE the theme setup and colors. whats the font name you are using? it blends very well.

how much changing did you have to do to hi:ha's theme to get it like this?

looks great! easy to read - smooth...

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll think on that one. My idea has been to keep it simple without adding all the stuff that the forum can display. The last 20 posts would make the pageview longer. Plus, with the way SMF works, if you mark all read you can view the latest posts pretty easily the next time you login if you're a registered user. Something to consider though, thanks.

The font is tahoma.

As for theme changes...Thanks! I think I pretty much altered the top section a bit (not much), then I removed the normal php, mysql, wc3, etc. icons from the bottom I think. The rest was pretty much graphics-related changes.

what i really want on my site is a link/button to show all posts for the last 24 hours.

ive seen that on vbulletin and it rocks. im still learning my way around smf and joomla so it wont happen anytime soon.

You could do that with ssi.php in smf

just some feedback for you.

actually in using this theme it hides 'new messages' at the top level once you have read the 'most recent' post.

also, if you always stay logged in and 'in-touch' with the forum then the 'show unread posts since last visit' doesnt do well.

this is why i was talking about a 'all post in last 24 hr / today' button or at least a 'last 20 posts' button if you dont want to show it at the bottom of the screen.

something to think about anyway.

Thanks for the feedback. I've enabled it to show the last 5 recent posts for now to see how I like it for a few days

naw, you wont like it. it looks cluttery. i agree.

when i get a 'button' made for last 24 hour posts then ill give it to you to use as well. that would be nice

out of the way and easy to use if a users wants to just sit on the forum and communicate when things get hopping around here.

appreciate you being so flexible.

I'll see if it grows on me for a few. Although, it would be better to have a button that does that. I might have to look into that.
