When we create folders why do they not appear as soon as we create them?

Do you mean via FTP?  You have to hit the refresh button in your ftp program in order for it to know to go out and pull down the structure again.

Not FTP my cp admin, anyway it was a little quicker today so all is well.

It was something that followed me here because it used to be the same elsewhere.
