May 13, 2011 :: Supercell mysql issue

We're looking into what appears to be a mysql issue on our server Supercell. 

Database-driven scripts are having issues currently.  Static websites are not impacted.

I'll update this thread as we learn more.

This appears to be resolved.  I'll post more shortly.

As a follow up, http and mysql services on this server were restarted to resolve this issue.  It appears there was a load spike driven by a combination of backups and what appears to be an issue with an account that may have had some sort of script issue.  A number of factors seems to have added up to mysql becoming unresponsive.

We'll keep an eye on this tomorrow in the event it reoccurs.  Thanks!
