Jason

I'm scheduling a reboot of Avalanche, Wildfire and Thundersnow for 6am EST on Tuesday, January 17.

The reboots should take approximately 5 minutes (per server) if nothing abnormal occurs.

The purpose of this reboot is to enable some updates to a few items.  To be more specific, one issue is that these three servers are not properly updating cPanel quotas.  Whereas "Disk Space Usage" in cPanel is working on these servers, the master quota (what you see when you first login to cPanel) is not updating.  In some cases, this is causing issues where accounts exceed quota without the customer being made aware.

This has been an issue I've worked on with the datacenter since November and I'm hopeful this will solve that problem.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Regards,
Jason

Reminder that this maintenance is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

A change however -- we will NOT be rebooting Wildfire as posted above.  Wildfire was rebooted this morning due to a different issue so it does not require a second reboot tomorrow.

Thanks Jason, I read it and have put notify on for the "server updates | outages" board now.  :)

Thank you!
