November 13, 2008 :: Name our next server poll

Like we've done before, I like to take a vote on naming our next server.  It should be up and running within the next week or two.

Please feel free to suggest additional names if you have some good ones but remember...

The theme is "Natural Weather and Geographical Phenomenon" to go along with our current server names.  (Found here)

I will need to make the decision (for setup) relatively quickly so vote fast

If the voting isn't widely in favor of a certain one, I reserve the right to pick the winner

While I was tempted to vote for previous names, I chose others thinking that it may make older forum posts a little confusing as they are talking about the old servers.

Excellent point I hadn't considered.  I knew we kept you around here for a reason!

I had to choose the name quickly to get things moving so I went with Monsoon for this one.

As for "when" -- It's up and running now but I have some customizations I need to get done before I start installing accounts.  (Not to mention that we still have plenty of capacity on our other servers).  I expect it should be fully ready for production at some point early next week.
