We will be upgrading cPanel on our servers starting Thursday evening (EST).  During the upgrade process (which could take an hour or two tops) cPanel may be unreachable if you try to login.  There should be no impact to email or your website(s) being reachable.

I will post here as we proceed and once completed in case there are any questions.

Thanks

Jason

We are starting this now for the following servers:

Cyclone
Hurricane
Firestorm
Blizzard
Maelstrom

Users on these servers will likely be unable to login to cPanel during the upgrade process.

We will proceed with the remaining servers once I have word that all is going smoothly on the first group.

Jason

We have completed the upgrade on the following servers:

Cyclone
Hurricane
Firestorm
Blizzard
Maelstrom

If you spot any issues, please let me know.

We're starting now on the remaining group:

Tempest
Tornado
Tsunami
Monsoon

Jason

The remaining group was completed around 12:30am EST this morning.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks

Steve

Maybe not anything new, just bug fixes and general optimizations?

Jason

I'll reply later when I can. I've been in bed sick for almost 18 hours and now my broadband is down. :(

Jason, why when I log into my sites' admin after the upgrade, that it tells me my language files are no longer up to date?

Do you mean cPanel?  I don't see that error when I login as you.

You mean the admn section of the smf forum?

Jason

Back to the 11.24 Stable question, here's a link to the "what's new?" page:

http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpwhm/cpanel11/new-features.htm

There may not be anything new (feature wise) that you'll see in cPanel but it's a significant release in terms of better, more efficient code.  It should essentially do more with less.
