March 23, 2009 :: Planned Firestorm php recompile

We're going to recompile php on Firestorm tomorrow (Monday) evening.  It will likely result in 2-3 minutes of an outage to php-driven pages.

I'll post here before/after the change.

We're going to start this shortly.

Do a version conflict with what we're enabling, we're going to have to upgrade apache too.  We're looking at a slightly longer outage time but it should be in the 10-15 minute range.

If we encounter any issues, we'll revert. 

I will keep this thread current as we progress.
