April 01, 2009 :: Planned Network Upgrade, two new turn-ups

We may see nothing or some brief slowness but our datacenter is adding two new backbone connections on April 1, early morning.

From the datacenter:

We will be bringing up a new gold upstream connection to Level3 between 12-4am EST on 4/1/09. We will also be bringing up new upstream connections on both gold and silver to Mzima at the same time.

There may be some routing changes on both gold and silver during this time as the new connections come online, and as route optimization on the gold network integrates the new routes.
