How to take size down from 2000x773 to 1300x160?

Its Pshop5 so quite old version.

I   go to image then -->image size -->1300x160 I tried all the usual like percents, bicubic, nearest neighbour, bilnear, bicubic etc.

Tried the slider. Nothing works because of the version..any ideas?

The first thing to consider is that that's not going to directly resize because the percentage reduction is different.

2000 > 1300 = 65% reduction
773 > 160 = 20% reduction

So you can do it but the resulting image would be very distorted.

That being said, I can't really comment on that old version of PS.  Does it give you an error message?  That's about the most basic feature of any graphics program so I'm curious what it's doing.

Worst case -- maybe you'd want to try a new application?

If you're on a windows machine, Paint (included) has the ability.

There are free graphic editors available as well:

http://www.gimp.org/

There's also some sites that will do it online:

Hope that helps
