AJAX Chat

I was just wondering if you could host AJAX Chat on your Forum? If so, will it take up another MySQL Account/Database and how do I install it?

You could certainly install it though it may depend on what version of SMF you're running. The mod I've seen used a lot doesn't seem to certify that it works with the latest versions. It seems like it hasn't been updated since 2010.

Regardless, it would install into your existing database. It wouldn't need a standalone database for just that.

I'd recommend going to the SMF Mod site, searching for "chat" and looking through the results. I haven't tried any of the newer ones but tit looks like there are some that look promising.

I have Tufat's FlashChat installed here. I don't know if it has an integration script for 2.0 but it's continued to work here over the years of upgrades.

I've picked Sidesparks. However, there's a Mod Problem. The Mod Problem is that when the Mod was installed, it'd give me the "Internal Server Error"

Did the mod install complete with all successes?
