January 11/12, 2013 :: Avalanche outages

Avalanche was rebooted about 30 minutes ago after becoming unresponsive. About 15 minutes later, it crashed again.

I'm waiting on a current reboot to complete to continue our investigation.

I've also opened a ticket with the datacenter to determine if there's anything storage related.

(There were two reboots of this server last night as well around 7:30pm and 8pm EST)

I will update this thread as details arrive.

The server is currently online.

Depending on what the issue is, it could go down again but we have three different parties (including myself) logged in now taking a look.

We've suspended a site that appears to have been causing the issue.

We're continuing our investigation but the health is looking better currently.

I was'nt able to access my bblueandwhite/ site Jason,

This was through Google at about 14.15 GMT I got it from cpanel ok but no access to admin.

I am in no hurry to do anything just now.

Hi - Are you referring to today or last weekend when this happened on January 11 and 12?

No outages have been detected on that server since the 12th.

I don't think your account is on this server.

I'm confused by how Google is involved. Can you email me directly with the url so I can test it?

Course its on your server avalanche.....

We use Google to access pages don't we?

Then I have to ask for wp-admin to sign in to make posts. It was fine yesterday.

If I go to the link above and then type "/wp-admin" on to the end, it's giving me your WP login page.
