Sept 2, 2005 :: Thunder apache restarts

Apache on Thunder restarted multiple times this morning between the hours of 7am-9am EST.  During this time, you may have noticed slower response times or complete httpd outages during the restarts.  The cause was a denial of service attack that included one of our IP's.  Things stabilized shortly after that time and we're continuing to monitor this should anything begin again.
