For those of you who have noticed about 3-4 brief outages on our server Tempest today (including Charlottezweb and these forums), we've been doing some fixes to apache and php.

A php recompile was done overnight to address a missing library.  This began a series of recompiles to replace libraries and configurations that were left out.  Each recompile causes a few minutes of outage to php-driven scripts/pages.  (Normal .html pages and email of course were not impacted).

It was discovered that phpsuexec -- which we run on all servers -- was not functioning properly with the versions of apache and php we were running so we adjusted apache accordingly a few minutes ago.  This caused close to 20 minutes of http outage.

I believe we're done for now but wanted to be sure to post what happened for those of you on Tempest (or who were visiting here) and noticed these occurrences.  There's nothing server-wise to be worried about -- it was us causing these brief outages.

I'll update this thread in the event that I need to do anything further.  Otherwise, an issue I spotted before is now fixed so I think we're set.
