I've received reports from about 5 customers today reporting slowness reaching various servers.  We've taken inbound and outbound traces and seen normal readings for some and drops for others.

However, there's apparently a larger issue going on that's being reported by a lot of hosts (even outside of our datacenter).  I will keep this thread open and will add to it as I know more about the true cause(s).

Yes please keep us posted. I'm experiencing the slowness as well. Both on this server (charlottezweb.com) and on my websites on Hurricane.

Its been a issue for me after GC was dropped..

i will try to ride it out....

My lag seems to come inside the DC......

We shall see...........

From the dc:

"we have isolated a layer 2 issue somewhere between level3 and us - there are crc errors on their side but not ours.  we are going to shut the session down until they finish the testing of the fiber."

Level3 is the new circuit that was turned up on 2/1.

I will keep this post updated.

They haven't formally announced what Level3 has done but I got a ticket reply stating they believe this to be resolved.

Is anyone still seeing any latency?

All seems fine right now...  :)

Thanks for the info Jason

Jason

The level3 circuit was turned back on earlier today (about 3 hours ago) so assuming it's working properly now it appears they did fix whatever issues were on their side.
