I'm making this post from Google Chrome.

So far I'm impressed.  I don't know if it's just me but it feels ridiculously fast compared to FF or IE.

I'm loving the features too.  I might have to use this for a bit to see if it becomes my new default.

Mark

It's so fast because it's both lightweight and has Google Gears built into it which if a website supports it would make it even faster! :)

I tried it on my Windows machine and it's pretty good so far. No Mac version yet, though I'm quite happy with Safari so I don't know if I will put it on my Mac.

They've already made a statement about that and they are removing it as it wasn't intended to be in there. ;)

I was going to try it until I started reading the terms and conditions.

Pretty one sided, isn't it?

They can use your information, collect data on you and change any terms by posting it and without further acknowledgment from you?  That is worse than Microsoft!

This is an AD agency run wild with power.

Either they are selling it, in which case, the terms are subject to commercial legalities and privacy laws, or it should be a standard GPL/GNU license.  Right now, they can collect all data on you and even sell it.  There is no privacy for the user at all.

...and I am not even a conspiracy nut!

Until it is a simple, two sided agreement without tracking, I will stick with my slow old SeaMonkey.

Check all your sites as some problems have been reported on the net,

Mine, (WP) has a slight problem which I will deal with but you best check yours.

So do they mean they did'nt want you to see it?

It seems that Google is 'starting' to listen to people who value privacy.

Personally, I am still waiting for a two way agreement that respects privacy and user rights, but this is an improvement.

I'm enjoying it so far.  I did see an "un-chrome" or something out there that strips out any identifiers that the software uses to track or identify a particular installation.
