Uhg, it seems like every few months now I receive an email from somewhere stating that someone has gained "unauthorized access" to a database of usernames, passwords, credit card info, and/or other personal information. I figured I'd share the following info as I'm sure a handful of us use Adobe products, and if you haven't heard yet, Adobe just joined the list of companies facing this issue. So, take the usual steps to safeguard yourself. Fortunately, the email stated that most the data was encrypted, but still a good idea to take proper measures.

I read that this morning.

Yet another reason for unique/complex passwords everywhere as well as the use of temporary credit card numbers if your bank offers it.

While I usually use a random credit card number like you said, sadly, the account I was using to pay for my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription does not offer that. :(

These days, that's something all banks should offer to be honest.

Agreed.  Funny thing is that through my bank, certain accounts of mine offer it while others don't.  Go figure.
