Even if it doesn't apply, I would suggest upgrading still ;)

Sig

I guess this was fixed before the public version of RC2?

The calendar fix?  I would definitely assume so.

Quoting:
QuoteSimple Machines is happy to release a new update to Simple Machines 1.0 and 1.1. This release addresses an input validation vulnerability of the X-Forwarded-For header. Also two small issues regarding search and polls have been addressed.

Note that the fix for the SMF 1.0.x branch will be released as new version 1.0.7, while the fix for the 1.1 RC2 branch will merely be released as patched version, the version of the forum will remain 1.1 RC2 (therefor, most of the modifications should remain compatible).  It should be noted that we have provided one update package that patches versions 1.0.5, 1.0.6, and 1.1 RC2.

If you currently have installed 1.0.5, 1.0.6 or 1.1 RC2, you can do either of the following to upgrade:
* Use the package manager in your administration center - one click, and you're done.
* Download the update archive file from the download page, and upload all of the files from it.
* Download the modification file, attached to this message, and modify the files manually according to it.

If you're running Rc2 already, this is as simple as copying a few files over what you have *or* doing it through the package manager.  It took me all of 30 seconds per site I just updated.

Cheers,
Jason

It's generally something you would do as they come out every several months and I host tons of them.  :)

Do you need help with something specific?

Not right now, thanks. I'll try it to do it myself.

Ok, if you have any issues, let me know and we'll see what we can do.

Update...

A new version was released to SMF charter members tonight.

Be prepared for a new release shortly.

Cheers,

Looks like your theme needs some updating to make use of some of the new features added.

I wouldn't doubt it.  I'll either swap or see what's missing when I get a few minutes.  I don't think many themes are presently supporting Rc3 yet...

(The registration wasn't working initially...I'm glad I tested that randomly because I normally don't)

We have released 1.1 RC3 to the public, and there is a security update for 1.1 RC3 that was released to our Charter Members. It is highly suggested that everyone upgrade as there are many bug and security fixes as well as a number of new features.

Charter Members see the Charter Member board for more information and to download the small update.

Non-Charter Members you can visit the downloads page as you normally would for the upgrade package.
