December, 30, 2011 :: Scheduled datacenter network maintenance

One of our datacenters has notified us of some upcoming network maintenance.  As is normally the case, these changes are usually not noticed but it's possible you may see some brief latency (and/or possible brief outages) as network paths are re-routed.  All servers except for Avalanche, Wildfire and Thundersnow could be impacted.

Upstream connection maintenance

Details of Action:
Maintenance will be performed on hardware carrying some Atlanta upstream conections on Friday, December 30th.  This maintenance will include a brief outage on Gold Network connections to PCCW/BtN.  Downtime is not anticipated, but some sub-optimal routing may be experienced as traffic is shifted between providers.
