Late on Sunday, March 30, our CPanel will be upgraded from version 6.0 to 6.2.x

This should provide significant speed increases.  Here's a release on the changes:

"cPanel (6.2.x) has been heavily optimized to load almost twice as fast on most pages, and up to 50 times as fast on pages that listed subdomains, addon domains etc."

If there is a few minutes of downtime (which should be negligible), this is the reason.

There will be an upgrade to cPanel on Friday, May 30th, 2003.  This may cause a few minutes of scheduled downtime, but should basically be unnoticeable.

This upgrade will address some issues with the current version, including some security fixes.

I've overlooked this thread for awhile, but as an fyi, we're currently running the latest cpanel version:

8.5.3-STABLE, Build 3

A configuration script has been added to the server to specify a custom language file for new cpanel setups.  This resulted in about a 2-3 minute downtime of http services (all other services including pop, smtp, etc were not affected) at approx 11:45pm EST on Wed, Jan 21, 2004.

I noticed some links in CPanel are not working.

Jason

Can you let me know which ones?

I can tell you that "fantastico" is a new addition on this new server that wasn't on the previous.  However, it's not fully setup.  I'm in communication with the cpanel skins developer to have him help resolve that problem.

What else are you seeing?
